Mark Hill- Exploration Manager
Mr Mark Hill is a geologist with 30 years’ experience in mineral exploration, project development and mining. He has a Bachelor of Applied Science (Geology) from Curtin University with a Masters of Science (Mineral Economics) through WA School of Mines in Kalgoorlie and has worked extensively in Australia and PNG covering a variety of commodities including gold, nickel, copper, lithium, lead, zinc, iron ore and magnetite.
Mark specialises in exploration and development of grass roots and brown fields mineral projects and has held senior management and corporate roles for junior ASX listed entities since 2006. Mark has extensive experience in Western Australian Archaean gold geology through his experience in mining and exploration. He has worked as an open-cut mine geologist in a number of WA gold mines including the Sons of Gwalia mine in Leonora, amongst others as well as an underground mine geologist at the Kundana mine near Kalgoorlie.
With over 15 years experience in Archaean gold exploration, he has a high level understanding of
gold dispersion and pathfinder geochemistry associated with the goldfields regolith, hydrothermal mineral alteration and undercover exploration; GIS; databases; structural geology; geophysical dataset assessment; 3D geological modelling; geometallurgy and resource assessment.
Peretz Schapiro-Non Executive Chair
Mr Peretz Schapiro has a proven track record of developing and growing successful B2B SaaS platforms and consulting services, built on strong partnerships with some of Australia’s most reputable institutions. He is the Managing Director of Charidy.com, Australia’s premier crowdfunding platform and fundraising and marketing consultancy, raising over $100 million in the last two years alone.
Peretz has been a global investor for almost a decade and understands the fundamental parameters, strategic drivers, market requirements and what it takes for a high growth business. Peretz has a professional background in management consulting, marketing, and fundraising.
Peretz holds a Masters degree in Applied Finance and is currently an Executive Director of Torian Resources Limited (ASX:TNR)
Andrew Graham- Non Executive Director
Andrew has 30 years of technical, operational and managerial experience in the resources sector with both private and public companies in Australia and overseas. He has founded multiple companies in the mining, mineral processing, consulting and environmental sectors and has a passion for business building through strong leadership, technical excellence and strategic focus.
Andrew has built a global network of investors, innovators and technical and commercial specialists. He has been involved in raising hundreds of millions of investment capital, building large teams of specialists and developing numerous projects from Greenfields Exploration to operating mines.
He has qualifications in applied geology, economic geology, management, training and quarry management and is a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and the Institute of Quarrying.
He is currently the CEO and Executive Director of Cohiba Minerals Limited (ASX:CHK)
Romy Hersham-Non-Executive Director
Romy has worked in the mining exploration sector since the beginning of 2017. As current Company Secretary for Nova Minerals Limited and past Co-Sec for Cohiba Minerals Limited, he has gained extensive experience in developing exploration projects, improving internal processes and shareholder communication.
He holds a double degree in Law and Arts from Monash University.
Michael Melamed- CFO
Michael Melamed is a chartered accountant and brings over 20 years of extensive experience in the accounting and corporate advisory fields. He acts as the Chief Financial Officer for ASX listed Nova Minerals Limited and Torian Resources Limited. Michael is a Member of Institute of Chartered Accountants, Australia and has a Bachelor of Business (Accounting & Finance) from the University of Technology, Sydney (UTS).
Matthew Foy- Company Secretary
Matthew Foy was previously a Senior Adviser at the ASX and has ten years’ experience in facilitating the listing and compliance of companies on the ASX. Matthew is an active member of the WA State Governance Council of the Governance Institute of Australia and was previously a member of WA Regional Council of the Financial Institute of Australasia (FINSIA).
