The Gibraltar East project is located approximately 20km southwest of Coolgardie and 60km west of Kalgoorlie.  The MGL Gibraltar East prospects are accessible through made gravel roads and other tracks running south from the Great Eastern Highway.

Geology at Gibraltar

Gold exists in the Coolgardie goldfield district in two distinct settings: (1) near surface supergene or oxide gold deposits and, (2) Archaean lode gold deposits. Significant gold production has come from supergene (oxide) deposits and related alluvial material as well as lode gold deposits in the region.

Historical heap leach pad at Pamela

In 2018, Torian Resources encountered significant mineralisation in 50 holes on Pamela’s old heap leach pad. Monger Gold will be actively seeking to monetise the dump, and understand the origin of the material.

The 4 prospects at Gibraltar will be subject to geophysical surveys to understand their detailed structure.

Following this, Monger Gold hopes to conduct a drill program at Gibraltar, approximately 6 months after listing.
